I’d used the regular version from this company before, but the plus version is definitely more effective. My dog now steers well clear of anything I spray it on. Really pleased with it!

I’ve found this anti-chew spray really useful for discouraging unwanted chewing around the home. It has a very bitter taste, which is the whole point of the product, and makes furniture, shoes and other household items much less appealing for dogs to chew.
The spray bottle is easy to use and the 250ml size gives you plenty to work with. I like being able to apply it to specific areas where chewing is becoming an issue rather than having to constantly move or hide things around the house.
The bitter apple scent and taste are quite noticeable, so it certainly seems like a product designed to make dogs think twice before chewing. I also like that it can be used as part of training rather than simply relying on keeping everything out of reach.
It’s particularly handy for those common problem areas such as furniture, shoes and other household items that can become targets for curious dogs or puppies. Having it in a spray bottle makes it simple to use whenever needed.
Overall, this is a useful training aid to have around if you’re dealing with unwanted chewing. It’s easy to apply, the bitter formula is certainly noticeable and the 250ml bottle gives you a decent amount for repeated use around the home.

I have a dog who occasionally goes back to the same chair leg and a pair of trainers by the back door, so I tried No Chew+ on those particular spots. The bottle is a useful size and the spray comes out evenly rather than soaking one small area.
The liquid is clear and dried quickly on both the painted chair leg and the rubber edge of the trainers. I did a small test first and could not see any staining or sticky residue afterwards. My dog sniffed the treated areas and moved away, although I still kept an eye on him and reapplied it when he started showing interest again.
The very bitter formula means I wash my hands after spraying and avoid breathing in the mist. For me, this works best as part of consistent training rather than something I spray once and forget about. The straightforward bottle makes repeat applications easy, and it has been handy for targeting household items without leaving them visibly coated.

This has a strong scent…It’s quite acrid as far as it goes but it does work. I’m not sure I am wedded to the smell of it and it does seem to linger a little but it has stopped the puppies from chewing the chairs, the window sills, the corner of the skirting board and my laces….yep….they’re into everything!
It’s quite a decent sized bottle so will last a while, I have had smaller bottles and was surprised at just how quickly they ran out so have a bit more confidence this will last longer without needing replacement…and considering the lingering smell, it’s probably going to be longer than the other brands I’ve used.
Pooches hate it…this has been very effective in deterring them from chewing all of the above….hopefully they will grow out of this soon but I’m not holding out much hope.
Recommended.

I gave into the intrusive thoughts of spraying a bit on a surface and tasting it… can confirm it is very bitter! My pup hates it as well and instantly stopped chewing on the furniture legs!
