I bought this to stop cats coming into my garden and digging in the flower beds. It was very easy to use and started working within a few days. The cats stopped coming around the treated areas and the digging stopped as well.
I like that it’s humane and doesn’t harm the cats, it just keeps them away. The smell isn’t too strong for people but seems to work well as a deterrent.
Overall, a simple and effective product. I’d recommend it if you’re having problems with cats in your garden.

I honestly didn’t have high expectations initially, but I have to say I’m impressed. One of my cats decided the corner of our sofa was her personal scratching post, and nothing seemed to deter her, not even the scratching tree right next to it.
I sprayed this on the problem areas for a few days, and the difference was almost immediate. She sniffed the sofa, pulled a face, and lost interest. I still reapply it periodically (just in case), but so far it has worked really well!
I would say it is quite a pleasant citrus smell for humans, and it didn’t stain my fabric at all – but if you have tried other solutions with no luck, i would say worth giving this a try.

Sprayed on the carpets and cats wouldn’t go near it

This stuff actually works I tried two other brands that did nothing. We got a new cat two months ago and she was destroying an expensive area rug we have in the living room because it’s a bit delicate. I tried two other brands that did nothing to stop her but she really doesn’t like the smell of this. It does have a strong citronella smell so if you don’t like that this is not for you, but the smell fades. I’ve been using it for weeks every day and no scratching, I just bought my third bottle!!

We used this alongside a scratching post, and the combination worked perfectly. Our cat quickly got the message and redirected her scratching to the post instead of the furniture. Since using it, we haven’t had a single new scratch on the sofa. It was simple to use and it is nice to know the product is natural and safe for pets while also being effective.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well this Natural Cat Deterrent Spray works. I originally tried it as a gentle way to protect my furniture and plants, and it’s turned out to be a reliable little helper. The light citrus scent is natural and not overwhelming, and I appreciate that the formula dries quickly without leaving any residue.
Using it has been simple—just a quick spray on the spots my cat normally targets, and within a couple of weeks, the scratching and marking noticeably decreased. I’ve also used it around my garden, and it’s been effective at keeping neighborhood cats from wandering into the vegetable beds.
What I like most is that it’s plant-based and vet-approved, so I feel comfortable using it around my home.

We’ve been trying to stop our cat from scratching the sofa and door frames, and this spray has definitely helped discourage that behaviour. The scent is noticeable at first but not overpowering, and importantly, it doesn’t linger in an unpleasant way for humans.
It’s easy to apply—just a quick spray on the areas you want to protect—and we noticed a difference within a couple of days. Our cat now tends to avoid those spots and has gone back to using their scratching post instead.
I also appreciate that it doesn’t leave any marks or sticky residue on furniture, which was a concern initially. The bottle feels good quality and should last a while as you don’t need to use a large amount each time.
Overall, a simple but effective solution for redirecting scratching behaviour. Worth trying if you’re dealing with a stubborn scratcher!

This is a potent little bottle of cat deterrent. My kitten is not a fan of orange and citrus, so this works really well for keeping him away from the wires at the back of the TV. My older cat has no objections to citrus scents so it wouldn’t deter him, but I wanted it for the kitten so happy days! The spray works well and the nozzle can be turned to on and off positions, which are clear to see. I like that this spray is made from natural ingredients and won’t cause harm to my cats. For the price of £14.99, at the time of this review, this is fair value for money as a little goes a long way. It will keep my kitten out of harm’s way without upsetting my elderly cat so it’s a win in our household. 5 stars.

This spray smells pretty good to me but the kitties don’t like it one bit. It smells nice and citrusy, quite soft and thankfully not as sharp as I imagined – it’s for the constant scratching to get inside the under-bed drawers and I didn’t want something too ‘refreshing’ that’d keep me awake.
You need to shake the bottle well and then simply spray the area – consistency is key as the scent obviously fades but it does work if you persist. It’s reassuring to know the ingredients aren’t harmful, plus they’re gentle on surfaces unlike claws 🐾 You do get a good amount and hopefully just the one bottle will be necessary to get them out of the habit!
It does seem quite expensive and there are cheaper versions available but this one ticks all the boxes for safety which is so important.

Here’s the thing with most “cat deterrent” sprays… they either do absolutely nothing, or they smell so weak your cat just ignores them. This one is not that. The scent hits immediately, even with the bottle sealed I could smell it, so once you spray it, it’s very obvious. It’s a strong citrus smell, not chemical or nasty, but definitely noticeable. If you’re sensitive to smells, that’s something to keep in mind, because it lingers for a bit.
That said, it actually works. I used it on a patch of carpet my cat had decided was her personal scratching post, and she stopped going for it after I started using this. No weird reactions, no issues, just a clear “nope” from her whenever she got near it.
The spray bottle itself is decent quality too. Good mist, easy to control, doesn’t feel flimsy, and with how little you need per use, the 250ml should last a while.
What I like most is that it doesn’t feel harsh or risky to use around the house. You’re not worrying about spraying something toxic everywhere just to protect your furniture.
Only real downside is the strength of the smell, but honestly, that’s probably why it works.
If you’ve got a stubborn scratcher, this is one of the few deterrent sprays that actually backs up what it claims.

Lovely smell, cats seem to avoid the chair legs with it on. I sprayed it onto a cloth to apply .
If it continues to work it is worth the money.
